Drawing Course for Scene Painters and Sculptors

After completing her diploma as a scene painter at the renowned Hochschule der Künste (Academy of Arts) in Dresden, Annekatrin Härtel completed a diploma as a theater sculptor.
Since then, she is at home in both specialties and works as a freelancer for numerous national and international theaters.
Scene painting and sculpting activities for various theaters in Germany and abroad, e.g.
- Crossing Delancey (Theater and Company, Kitchener, Kanada)
- Der Rosenkavalier (Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel)
- Was ihr Wollt, Der eingebildete Kranke (Staatsschauspiel Dresden)
- Der Wildschütz, Figaros Hochzeit (DNT Weimar)
In this creative drawing course Annekatrin Härtel will focus on the beauty of the Italian architecture and the inspiring surroundings of San Severino.
The focus lies in the perception and reproduction of structures and colors, which are of fundamental importance for the work of scene painters and sculptors.
Besides a visit to the Teatro Feronia and the Pinacoteca with paintings and sculptures of the past centuries, there will be an excursion and picnic in the near surroundings.
And last but not least, this course is about mutual exchange between colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere.
You can bring individual drawing utensils with, but they will also be provided for in the course.
